Boys Can Dance!
In addition to our general dance programs boys have the opportunity to participate in Boys Only classes (No girls allowed!). Sports such as soccer, basketball, football and other general contact athletics improve with dance training.
Boys Beat 1 (Ages 3 - 5; 45 minutes) This introduction to dance allows boys to combine creative dance styles with expressive, energetic movement and fun. This class includes Hip Hop and creative movement.
Boys Beat 2 (Kindergarten – 1st Grade; 45 minutes) This class allows boys to explore movement and rhythm through dance in an atmosphere of fun. This class gives boys the opportunity to develop creativity, motor skills, musicality, as well as rhythm and coordination to foster the growth of self-esteem. Boys will gain an understanding of the arts and an insight into the attributes of physicality. This class includes training in the style of Hip Hop and Tap dance.
Boys Beat 3 (Ages 6 – 9; 45 minutes) This class provides basic dance skills while developing flexibility, speed, ease with movement and a sharp sense of self. Boys will have the opportunity to explore some of the latest dance moves and the basics of break dancing. This class includes training in the Hip Hop style of dance.
